PCs took over, and Overload moved with them. DOS was the operating system of the time, and Turbo C the tool of choice. The code was pretty much rebuilt from scratch, though it kept the AI algorithm. This version was visually quite similar to the C64 style, but added a fancy new tool: the mouse. Clicking on the board instead of typing coordinates was more intuitive for sure.

Also, this was the only German version, for no particular reason.
