The biggest flaw of all the software houses (the few that to a greater or lesser extent program games for PCW) is their incredible and unbridled habit of making almost exclusively Text-based adventures or strategy games. As far as we can remember, only three of the many great arcade games for CPC are adapted to the PCW: Batman, Head Over Heels and Bob Winner. Quality arcade seems to be forbidden to the austere PCW. The reason? Surely the difficulty that programming itself entails. Apart from that, there is also less difficulty in making text-based games in which everything is limited to static graphics and text. Something similar happens in the case of simulation programs. Such programs can perfectly do without overly elaborate graphics and the characteristic movement of any arcade. PSI 5 Trading Company is a space adventure (not text based but with extensive explanations and numerous menus in English), well done and also relatively complicated. Once again we are talking about a conversion carried out on a CPC. PSI 5 is a very complete game in which we will take command of a commercial ship (not a combat ship). Our first job will be to select the entire crew, each crew member will be in charge of a specific section or department such as navigation, cargo, etc. Once all the candidates for the respective sections have been chosen, we will be in a position to start "trading" in all the space stations that we find on our route full of dangers, pirates and others. To play with all the guarantees, the program manual and at least a minimum knowledge of English are absolutely necessary.
