Types of Hands

All hands move in (full or partial) circles around an axis, and always clockwise. They are assigned different types, to define what type of time they measure. The type determines how fast they move: the second hand revolves once a minute, the hour hand once in 12 hours etc. The supported types are below. The paper watch contains all of them except a 24 hour display. Look at the Casio data for one of those.


Second

revolves completely during a minute


Minute

revolves completely during an hour


Hour

revolves completely during 12 hours


24-Hour

revolves completely during 24 hours


Weekday

revolves completely during a week


Monthday

revolves completely during 28-31 days
